Finally! You and Kate Middleton have something in common: You both love sweatpants.
The Duchess, who is expecting her third child with Prince William, stepped out solo at the National Tennis Centre in London at the Tennis for Kids event. According to Kensington Palace, Kate is the Lawn Tennis AssociationPatron, a job she took over from the Queen in December. The organization’s goal is to get more people playing the sport.
Appropriately for a tennis-playing event, Kate arrived in a sweatsuit. But because it’s Kate, hers made her look chic and sporty rather than slouchy. The black sweatpants have a large white stripe running down the side of the leg, which she pairs with super-comfy white Nikes. With her hair pulled back into a low ponytail and natural makeup, she looks as every bit of a Duchess as ever—just in a super chic tennis outfit. (And girl’s got moves, too!)
While the actual pants she wears cost $345 (ouch), you don’t have to shell out that much to get her look. Go for the Archive T7 Sweatpants from PUMA ($55, Nordstrom.com), which look remarkably similar at a fraction of the cost. These have a white stripe down the side of the leg and stay slim at the hips and waist for a flattering fit.
Kate is no stranger to looking good while keeping it comfy. She famously sported white $60 Superga sneakers multiple times this year. And though she has access to all the pricy skin creams in the world, she smears a mixture of Nutella, sugar, and lip balm on her face for an at-home treatment. Because when you’re Kate, every fashion and beauty moment is a win.
